While the coffee and the pastries are good, it is expensive. However, what bothered me the most was that it was a cold and potentially cozy day. Unfortunately, their fireplace did not work and, it appeared to me, looked as if there was no intent to get it working. Sad.

This place was the best part about our hotel stay. Great location, great coffee with unique drink offerings, delicious pastries (Marionberry coffee cake consistently on point!) friendly service, ice cream for the kids, and the food I tried was great! It gets busy late morning, and they close the kitchen at 3 but coffees and ice creams are still available. We came here often!

Great Barista, he asked me about the amount of ice, and the amount of milk added to my double shot. Most don't ask.

Stopped by for a cup of tea and a sweet treat at this cozy, friendly coffee house. I had the Marionberey coffee cake and my companion had carrot cake. Both were fresh and delicious. My marionberry coffee cake was luscious with cream cheese and berry filling. It was a special treat. As I ordered my tea the guy who took my order asked what size I wanted. As I was deciding he said, "We charge by the tea bag, not the cup size, so get a big one!" I appreciated that. When my tea came it was CRAZY hot. I loved that it was hot enough to give the tea a good brew. We will go back here! Next time I plan to get a coffee from their extensive list of specialty flavors.

I've been on the hunt for good coffee shops in the Vancouver area, so I came to check out Savona. The interior is super cozy and homey. Most of the seating options are for group seating (multiple tables pushed together, large couches), but there are a couple solo tables. For the most part, Savona is pretty quiet and a good spot to get some work done. The coffee was pretty good but a bit pricey. I had a breakfast burrito as well, and to be honest, was not very impressed. The small sized burrito was in fact, quite small, and was pretty tasteless. I still give 4 stars for vibes and location (sits right next to the river, perfect spot to hit before/after a stroll!).

We love Savona for its delicious breakfast pastries, hot sandwiches, Tao of Teas, ice tea and ice cream! Today we had the hot Italian sandwich and the chicken / spinach / artichoke heart sandwich, along with fresh-brewed black iced tea. Yum. We sat outside with views of the Columbia River because the weather was perfect, but the inside has many comfortable seating groups. Locally owned and operated, the staff is always super nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

Stopped by the Savona Coffee house for one of there world famous Affogato treats. This one had a double shot over a creamy sweet vanilla ice cream. It was a perfect blending of the two. The slight hint of bitterness from the espresso shots blended very smoothly with the creamy texture and sweet flavor of the in house vanilla ice cream. After the ice cream melted down a bit it tasted like a better version of a vanilla latte. We came at the end of the day with ten minutes before close. The young lady that helped us was a little intense and seemed ready to go home for the day. I certainly get it. Anyway...we love this place and will continue to come back again and again.
